Visian ICL: The Intraocular Contact Lens

Visian ICL (Intraocular Contact Lens) is the latest alternative to LASIK, SBK, and Epi-LASIK. The Staar Collamer Phakic Implant corrects 3 to 16 diopters of nearsightedness with an almost instant return of stable, sharp, clear vision. Originally the ICL was considered for patients not suitable for LASIK. It is now considered an alternative that may be better than LASIK for many.
